Every great adventure begins with one brave step.

This fall, we are diving into the Big Blue World with Disney's Finding Nemo Jr.

Join Nemo, Marlin, Dory, and all their ocean friends for an unforgettable musical adventure filled with friendship, courage, perseverance, and discovering that we're capable of more than we ever imagined.

At NSDT, we believe every child deserves a place where they feel seen, supported, and celebrated. A place where it's okay to try something new. A place where confidence grows one rehearsal at a time. A place where friendships are built, creativity is encouraged, and every performer belongs.

Whether your child is stepping onto the stage for the very first time or returning for another production, every registered performer will receive a role and have the opportunity to shine.

AUDITIONS

Auditions will take place during the first two weeks of rehearsals and are used for casting purposes only. Every registered performer will receive a role and have the opportunity to shine on stage.

We can't wait to welcome both new and returning performers as we bring Disney's Finding Nemo Jr. to life together.

REHEARSALS

Rehearsals begin Friday, September 11th.

There will be two casts for our Finding Nemo Jr. production.

Blue Cast

Fridays from 5:00–6:30pm and Saturdays from 1:00–3:30pm

Yellow Cast

Fridays from 6:30–8:00pm and Saturdays from 4:00–6:30pm

Some performers may be asked to attend additional rehearsals for small group and individual coaching on: October 5th, October 19th, November 1st, and November 9th.

There will be no rehearsals on October 3rd or October 31st.

Leadership & Behind-the-Scenes Training Program

Our Stage Squad program gives experienced students the opportunity to take their skills to the next level by stepping into leadership and creative support roles.

Stage Squad members work directly with our coaches and production team, receiving hands-on training and mentorship in one or more areas of theater production, including: direction, musical direction, choreography, costumes, and props. 

Throughout the production, students will assist with rehearsals, tech rehearsals, performances, and additional rehearsals as assigned while gaining valuable behind-the-scenes experience and a deeper understanding of how a production comes together.

This program is designed to prepare students for a bright future, whether they choose to shine in the spotlight or behind the scenes!

***Stage Squad members are asked to attend all tech rehearsals and shows unless special accommodations have been granted.
